I'm trying my best to not think that much about if I'm motivated or not. Because every time I start thinking about if I'm motivated or not. Its always a 50/50 chance. What I mean is that either you are motived or not! Haha.
Well if you think about it, how many times don't you use "I'm not motivated" as an excuse for not doing things? (Like go to the gym).
If I would ask myself everyday if I'm motivated or not. I probably wouldn't make it out of bed some days. And be far from where I stand today. So stop asking yourself if you motivated or not next time you thinking about going to the gym or doing other stuff.
Motivation comes and goes and is just a temporary illusion.
